The annual community service initiative carried out by Nāgānanda International Buddhist University, Manelwatta, was this time dedicated to supporting people affected by the recent flood disaster.
As part of this humanitarian effort, essential dry food items were donated to approximately 150 families in need.
This activity was conducted at the university premises, following the guidance of Vice Chancellor Venerable Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thera, and was organized by a delegation from Malaysia.
අප මානෙල්වත්ත නාගානන්ද ජාත්යන්තර බෞද්ධ විශ්වවිද්යාලයෙන් වාර්ෂිකව සිදු කරනු ලබන ප්රජා සත්කාර සේවාව මෙවර පසුගියදා ඇති වූ ගංවතුර ආපදා තත්ත්වයෙන් විපතට පත් ජනතාව උදෙසා සිදු කෙරිණි. ඒ එකසිය පනහක් පමණ පවුල් වෙත අත්යවශ්ය වියලි ආහාර ද්රව්ය පරිත්යාග කිරීමෙනි.
මෙම කටයුත්ත අපගේ උපදෙස් පරිදි මැලේසියා දූත පිරිසක් විසින් විශ්වවිද්යාල පරිශ්රයේ දී සිදුකෙරිණි.
