On 31st July 2025, the Ambassador of Nepal to Sri Lanka, Dr. Poorna Bahadur, together with Professor Beena Gandhi and Mr. Vijay Kumar, made a special courtesy visit to the Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies.
They were graciously welcomed by our Vice Chancellor, Venerable Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero, along with Dr. Dampe Wijitharathana Thero, Senior Professor Vasantha Priyadarshana, Emeritus Professor Asanga Tilakaratne, and other respected members of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies.
The visit featured a meaningful discussion on:
