ලෝක බෞද්ධ සංඝ සම්මේලනයේ සංවිධායක කමිටු රැස්වීමක් පසුගියදා (2026.01.23) අප විශ්වවිද්යාල ආයතනයේ දී පැවැත්විණි. ඒ ලෝක බෞද්ධ සංඝ සම්මේලනයේ 60 සැමරුම අප විශ්වවිද්යාල ආයතනය කේන්ද්ර කරගනිමින් ශ්රී ලංකාවේ දී පැවැත්වීම සම්බන්ධවයි. එහිදී සියලු සාමාජිකයන්ගේ එකගත්වයෙන් මූලාසනය සදහා අපව පත්කරගත් අතර මෙම අවස්ථාවට ලෝක බෞද්ධ සංඝ සම්මේලනයේ ලේකම් නාහිමියන් ඇතුලු මහා සංඝරත්නය සහභාගි විය.
A meeting of the Organizing Committee of the World Buddhist Sangha Council was held recently on 23 January 2026 at the Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies (NIIBS).
The discussion focused on hosting the 60th Anniversary of the World Buddhist Sangha Council in Sri Lanka, with NIIBS serving as the central venue.
With the unanimous consent of all members, I was appointed to preside over the meeting. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Secretary of the World Buddhist Sangha Council, along with members of the Most Venerable Maha Sangha.
